With the end of the season here and some time till the 2010 season begins, what is on everyones agenda to get ready for next year?
I'm hoping to solidify some sponsorship's so I can start thinking about everthing else. With that said I hope Chirstmas doesn't wipe out my account $$$ so I can afford to make some much needed basic upgrades to get my bike more on par with everyone in SuperSport classes. I aslo need to pick up a trailer and hitch so I can stop asking to borrow a truck every weeked.
How is everyone else getting ready for next season?
P90X - Cheaper to take weight off me than off the bike!!
I'm getting ready by sitting here thinking how the hell I can afford stuff with the Christmas bills...
Do you race in Florida?
Ralph, heard good things about P90X from some friends.
I'm trying to downsize stuff. Selling of my Buell racing stuff, would like to sell my 24ft trailer and get into something smaller. Would like to have my H1 running for Road America with AHRMA.
Should start ice riding on Sunday. That's the plan. That's the fun part.

i lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks, gained 5 back at vir, then lost 5 more before work got in the way. and that was following my diet, not the p90x diet
I'm eating ramen noodles.

There is actually a good amount of saturated fat in those along with WAY too much sodium. (they are friggin tasty as hell though) So...... that would not be my first healthy choice, but if it works it works. 8)

I don't eat them to diet. I eat them to save for tire money!
gear tuneup... alexa's got my stuff and is repairing and making some alterations.
More weight loss... shooting for 185-190, I was almost there last year but a few hiccups set me back.
New bottom end in the SV
just got word pay is going up 15-20% so that should equal a nice racing budget... should...

Hell ya! Can't go wrong at 14 cents a pack!
Suite refreshed by Spyder Leatherworks, engine being refreshed by Cafe Racer Inc., and I'm trying to stay away from all the friggin holiday treats so I can actually take advantage of the previously mentioned work.
Getting a new helmet.
Getting Suspension refreshed/dialed in.
Maintaining all the other little things on the bike. (motor is stock so just maintaining that)
Cleaning up and fixing little things on the van.
Trying to run and do lots of cardio related workouts but I've been sidelined do to the doctor telling me to take it easy for now. I've been having pretty bad neck spasms and been on muscle relaxers and pain medicine for that. Also found out the other day I have broken a bone in my neck before so I will address that with the neurologist on Jan. 5. See if I need to have the bone fused or something, I really don't know. That's probably the reasons why I have had a "screwy" neck the past year or two. So hopefully we can get that solved and it's no big deal.

let's see prep the o'l 125 for the vintage race in february, prep wife for return to racing, build ram air box for 900 clanker for daytona, finish backup 748 for me to ride at daytona, find some kind accident insurance so when i break my other hip i'm covered. send nice gift basket to my indian ortho doctor so he'll be more delicate with the traction next time.

Sure man, just let me know where. The shop is next door to PTs and Hustler club, you of all people shouldnt have any problem finding it.
weighed about 130lb's during racing season now I'm at 140+ wtf lol. Must get back to my original weight of 130lb
Dial in suspension.
Crack into the motor and freshen up whatever is needed (probably send off a couple openers and closers to MEgacycle for re-chroming....yay)
Maint. items (brakes, chain, etc etc)
Volt. Reg./Stator replacement/relocation.
Fix backup tank (Fuel Pump leaks...need help!)
Install class three hitch on the Jeep.
Buy a trailer.
Get more sponsors on board.
Hmmm...lot's of stuff for basically one class. Oh well!
martin brickwald for the plating?
Sent off one or two to Megacycle out in Cali. Nice work, but pricey. There's got to be someone else that can do them for less. I have a couple that were "ok" but need to be readdressed. I'm just glad it's not a 748....talk about chipping issues!

Rookie. PTs diamond cabaret is right next to Penthouse, Oz, and Pops. And yeah Im right there. Heading over there in a few,
Are you even old enough to go there? :spank:
and actually, PT's sports bar is located there. Diamond Cabaret was revamped as Penthouse a few years back... and there is ANOTHER PT's location in centerville. :ass: Larry Flints Hustler Club is further into IL down 64 off 111...
at least thats what I've "heard"...
maybe we'll have to inspect each one for accuracy and come to a final conclusion before we get to the SV stuff
I'll let ya know about monday, and will call ya when I can get out there to meet ya.
Hmmm...Ben and Timmay in a nudie bar....with beers. This, I gotta see!

riding dirtbikes 3x a week again now that the shoulder is back to near-normal. Getting way better wind and woods riding for an hour is not killing me. Just finished the r6 superbike rebuild and have the freshened supersport r6 motor in the other bike. Gonna try to do 2010 on as much of a budget as motorcycle racing can be.. well, who am i kidding. There's no cheap way to race motorcycles. LOL..

Not to mess up Timmy and Bens romantic date (F!@#$#$%g thread highjackers) but he're my winter projects
Slowly re-assembling the sv with gsxr front end and rear rim, dreaming about racing the 09R6 in the spec. class but more immediately getting the crf250r rdy for ice riding. First real ride yesterday on Silver Lake - what a freaking blast.
Oh and also the first CMRA 4 hr endo race @ Texas World Speedway is less than 7 weeks away (Feb. 20) - Woo--Hoo!!!

Someone pay for 3 of my race weekends and I'll rock that color scheme :P
Winter Plans:
Build Suspension - Ride Ice - Build Suspension - Ride Ice - Build Suspension - Decide what I am doing next season racing wise - Ride Ice - Build Suspension - Sleep - Build Suspension - Work on R6's - Ride Ice - Build Suspension - Decide if I am racing the 200 - Build Suspension....
That's about it.... I haven't decided if I am going to train for next season - I trained all of 2 days last season... I actually lost weight last year and am currently getting back up to race weight.... I think I need to find a balance of muscle to bone ratio... Honestly I was just so busy this season between work - racing that I didn't have enough time to get on the bicycle. I lost muscle mass because of it...
But again - I'm not sure what I'll be doing for racing yet - So I guess I need to figure that out first...
