No, my weekend results were not good.
Nevertheless, it will be one that I will certainly remember forever.
My bikes had mechanical problems and the amount of help of support that I received from my fellow competitors and CCS officials was truly overwhelming.
I'd like to extend my special thanks to Kevin Uttech, Brian Lacey and my buddy Jim for going out of their way working on my carbs (staying until nearly 11PM working on my bike). Paul Gray for helping me to do all type of work on the bike.
Scotty Ryan for helping with my brakes and Roy Hefner and Steve Wilkins always offering to help.
Also to Rick for helping me to connect with Jim Matter who transported my bike to St. Louis on his way to California.
I even had Cindy Spalding preparing lunch for me :thumb:
I know that my experience was not unique.
This happens every CCS weekend in one way or another.
I must say, however, that for me this is as important and rewarding as wining races.
Again, thanks guys and thanks to the CCS staff for putting together these incredibly satisfying events.

Wait... my wife made you lunch? She did not make me lunch. If I see her changing your tires then we are going to have a talk.
Not sure if you caught this, but there's a little blurb about you on the AMA site: http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/news/story.asp?id=1304

Don't worry, she is just good hearted and felt sorry for the old man...
See you at BHF.
