Congrats to Barrett Long for qualifing for the 250 race and finishing 18th! Sure he started on the last row as a wild card but, he didn't finish last riding an 2003 tz 250. You would think that Russell or one of the other idiot announcers would have given him a plug. He was the only American in the race. You watch the next round with the regular moto announcers and they will talk all about the wild cards, this bunch can kiss my ass. Maybe i'm a little bias because i remeber when his parents brought him home as a baby or maybe it's because he is a hell of a rider. But i'm sure if this was England, France or Canada, the press would have something to say about their wild cards. And they may have talked about ours, but we will never know so now with the 600's coming, this is the end of a couple of guys driving 1500 miles in a sprinter van entering a 6 year old bike and qualifing in a GP race. then finishing. that f'nn greg white was a back of the packer you think he could have said something. I guess i'm going to have to join the speed tv site so i can tell that bunch how i feel.
that's great that he made it. I only knew about him going there to qualify due to them announcing it at pbir. I did not get to keep up with it this weekend. I'm going to search for a replay when i get home. Does anyone have any video on it or something they can post of the race or whatever.

I only saw the last half of the 250 race, no mention of him at all.
That's not the only problem I had with those dweebs at speed, almost no pre race info, plenty of time for some podium stuff, but commercials instead.
neckcar gets 1.5 hrs or more of pre race b.s., motorcycles are lucky get the start and finsh.
was he the #30 with the RAT sponsor?
i believe his # is 29 it's a white tz 250 with light blue stripes he has a small sponser plus longevity racing on the side last one into turn one but i think he pased a couple on the brakes and stayed about there
nm... i saw he is #29 of longevity racing. the guy with RAT is canadian (i finally got a chance today to watch the race on dvr)
once again, nice job Barrett.
marc, did you ever join the speed site and say something about their coverage? i think i am going to :thumb:
yeah and it took about an hour it's a large site still haven't found where you rant to actual celb. and probably won't but i vented anyway
