Title: CCS Sportbike need FUSA license?
Post by: Lowe119 on April 05, 2003, 08:57:11 AM
To race Expert CCS Sportbike races, do you need a FUSA license. I was going to run it at Road America at the end of this month and the CCS rep I talked to on the phone said I needed a FUSA license.

I cannot find anything in writing that stipulates that. Anyone know?   ???

FUSA license is $150 instead of $100, so you pay $50 more for the national classes, I guess you can note it on the entry sheet. It is in the license renewal package under license types, which you can probably download from ccsracing.com under forms

The short answer, No, you do not need a FUSA license to run CCS Regional Sportbike class.  I don't have a FUSA license yet and I ran Sportbike at BHF.

If it's a National Weekend, and you want to run the National Sportbike class complete with dyno testing and weight restrictions, then yes you need to pay the extra $50.
