I was doing really good in the Middleweight SS Race at PBIR until...

Did you just get tired and decide to lay in the grass??
Everybody rides on the pavement; I wanted to be a little different.
My kinda crash. :thumb:
This whole 'Going Green' thing is getting out of hand!

A real pioneer you are Toy Store- I don't favor crashes by anyone but love the sequentiol pics.
Un-impressive. I rate it a 3 out of 10.
BTW - you would have been fine if you stayed off the front brakes.
Except maybe the fast approaching tirewall!
I've never been to PBIR.
Can spectators really get that close to the track with only a tire wall between them and the track?
Is that as unsafe as it looks in the photos???
HAHAHAHA! They just re-did the track; that's the improved version! While the track is fun, it is surrounded by concrete barrier walls and tires. After I got up, I went to the wall and had a conversation with my girlfriend...
im trying to figure out what turn that is... and what lap??? i was in that race...
Some of the parts of the track do seem a little, unsafe. not saying its a bad situation, but some parts kind of make me think. Jennings seems so nice with all the open (bumpy) space. Last time i was there, i did a little near highside and had to go off somewhere in the area between t1-t3 and went flying through all that grass up the side of a kind of hill and rode that and went down and up another hill and what felt like got air off it (probably barely an inch) but stayed up. i cant imagine if that hill or something was a wall.
I've heard from people "in the know" that the pavement has a tad more grip than grass. ;)
LMAO- was your girlfriend the one seen pointing in the first couple shots? That cracked me up for some reason!
Glad you are ok. Crashing sucks.
Patrick, glad you're okay, and the sequence is very cool, someone knew they would get $50 bucks from you for that pic cd. Havent been to PBIR yet but have heard the same from the Daytona gang, fun track, close walls. And yes, the rapidly advancing tirewall does affect the "increased pull-to approaching pain", ratio on the front brake!
Hey, I saw it....it was a nice slide into home plate!
LOL! Devin, that's by your favorite turn after the carousel. Don't you have your bike to fix? Now get going, you only have 3 weeks to get ready. Oh yeah, if none of the Cubans don't bring any good food to eat at PBIR, I'm going to be upset! I'll even bring the grill.
Ron, Is Lucy coming next time? Too bad there aren't anymore track days at PBIR between now and CCS.
There are always track days there, Fridays I think.
track night next fri i think . manny zambrana had a pork shoulder in the back of a car last sun shared a piece it was killer ' just brought empanadas back from barbie bakery i can eat them til i'm sick. if i still lived in miami i'd be 400lbs
