How much are you willing to pay for dinner before the auction?
We spoke to one caterer, we would have to charge about $15 for pulled pork sandwich, 2 sides, and a soft drink. We would need a minimum of 50 dinners. Would that be too much?

BTW, Brian is referring to the Red Flag Fund Auction at Blackhawk Farms on Sept 26th.

Would the kitchen stay open? $15 is ok (to me) if part of it is a donation to the RFF, but if not I'd rather bring my own, or buy from the track. I'm not sure how beer sales went last year, but a lot of people brought their own.
Also, I have a really awesome chopper bicycle to donate. :D
Any profit from the dinner would be for the fund. It would be catered by an outside restaurant, not the track kitchen.
I do not think the kitchen would remain open.
Beer will be provided by the track, we do not want to get involved in alcohol sales. Profit would be the tracks, not ours.
I'd go for the dinner. It's for a good cause I hope to never need to use.
I'm in! $15 is nuttin'! I even have a pink toolkit that I might be able to pry away from my wife for a good cause.

Myself or any board member - Jane would probably be most convenient for you. We are having a meeting on Tuesday. I am not sure of what we have for donations at this point. Probably have a better idea next weekend at Blackhawk.
