Title: Big Thanks to Kerry Kimball
Post by: twilkinson3 on May 07, 2009, 10:15:42 AM
Was up at RA for the licensing calss last Friday and the bike quit on me in the first practice session, Kerry lent me a bike to finish up the class and pass - talk about a welcome to the fold - big thanks to Kerry for the assist, was one ugly/helluva day

I know what you mean- RA was my first CCS race in over a decade. I blew out my clutch and my quick shifter crapped out on me all in the same race. I went back into the paddock and Greg Langman hooked me up with a clutch pack, and Jim Berard hooked me up with a shifter linkage.  I knew neither of these guys prior to RA, yet they both immediately helped out a fellow racer and got me back up and running without thinking twice!

Welcome to racing, bro. I think you'll find this sort of attitude to be the norm.

Cheers,

Ski

Not to say too many good things about Kerry and his crew (Jamie Farhney what a jerk )...but the first time we met them at Blackhawk several years ago it was pouring down rain and we didn't have a canopy with us. Just about the moment we were going to pack up and head home, they lent us a spare pop up they had.....and we had just met them!

Those cheeseheads from Monroe are pretty decent people.

Jamie we need more jaegers and limburger!!!! :ahhh:
