Title: Rearstand at the track?
Post by: Nate R on March 30, 2003, 11:52:17 PM
For those of you who pit in the grass, how do you use the rearstand? I was messing around with a rug, some boards, etc, and nothing I did seemed nearly as stable as on pavement. I'll most likely be pitted in the grass, so I'm just wondering what you do.

Usually don't have too much of a problem.  Just watch it.  Sometimes, there might be a rock under ground or something.  Just make sure it's all the way down.

I think I'm going to home depot to get some of those heavy duty interlocking rubber mats...will be a trailer floor and double as a pit area.  Some people had them last year and it looked like it worked great for them.  Last year we used a sheet of plywood worked fine.
