looks like I won't make it to the first race at blackhawk. So far.. my broker has been 100% unreliable with everything. At first.. delivery data was scheduled for January. Did it come in Jan? NooOOoo~~~~ Okay.. I'll buy that.. Yamaha did release the new TZ250s a month late. No problem... I still have lots of time to prep the bike. Did it arrive in February? HELL NO! But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since I still have time to prep my bike. I can even overlook the fact that the bike that they received which they told me was mine actually ended up being some British guy's bike. Early March... is the bike here? Yeah and a tap dancing monkey just flew out of my anus. It's just about April and yeah the bike is here in the Chicago (atleast that's what the broker tells me) but do I have it? Once again.. HELL NO! I call the freaking transport company and they have no freaking record of a bike PERIOD! Now my broker says he's going to contact the Japanese office of the transport company to see why there are no records. Because my stupidass decided to order through them instead of 3 other brokers I had a choice of using..... this is the crap I'm dealing with. I've never been so frustrated in my entire life. I just want my godamn bike and I want it NOW! so I can race. Is that too much to ask for?
Brian,
That sucks bro...if you want, I'll sell you a '03 R6 or ZX6...LOL ;) We'll get you out on the track this weekend... ;D
Boy, if it showed up today, you'd be like me running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get ready for this weekend. My bike is in a million pieces and I'm still waiting for my forks and shock. I should get my bodywork back from the painter wednesday, it's going to be a long night wednesday trying to get ready for Dave's school. But what's new. Everything I do, I'm running around crazy.
Brian:
How frustrating!!!!!! >:(
This is what I would do, but you may need to take a few hours to accomplish this.
Call your broker, or better yet, if he is local, go an see him. Take your phone or use his and start calling his contacts. Start with the factory and start tracing.
Ok, when was the bike built?
When was it shipped?
Who was the shipping company?
What date was it sent out?
What is the shipping company's telephone number and contact person?
____________________________________________
When you get a hold of the shipping company...
The bike was shipped on such and such a date, what is the status of that shipment?
If received in port, where was it delievered and what happened next?
You'll have to take it from the top and track it down.
Good luck!
I'll loan you my bike to go racing. It runs on Flintstone power. ;D If you just rig a way to attach the rear and the front with no motor, you can hop on and foot your way to victory! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Brian look on the bright side it's probably going to snow. If your not going to race you can help me move into my temporary house. I still have your emblem's. Since I know your racing for the LGP championship this year maybe you could borrow a TZ for the weekend.
get
Any word yet Brian?
Dawn :-/
Dawn... I've tried everything you suggested and got to the point of posting on here regarding my experience. But after a bit more snooping around and making phone calls, I've found out that the bike is indeed in Chicago. I will find out the approximate time of release on Monday. So as long as I get the bike before Thursday, I will be at blackhawk but it looks unlikely at this point so I'll probably just show up on Sunday to watch the races.
Paul.. Temporary house?
Super Duck, if you just show up to watch on Sunday, come by and say hi. I'll be pitted between 3D and 4. I'd like to meet you. BTW, were you on slicks in the rain for the LCR school in 01, or what?
Wife and I are building a new house and sold the old one, so for 5 month's we are renting a house. I have to move on the 5-6th weekend. If you want you can rent my TZ for the weekend to race not just drive it around to get point's.
TZ-boy that was very nice of you. The love that I am feeling on this board is making me get all teary eyed. If he takes you up on the offer I could bring the TZ up in the trailer.

Nate.. I will be sure to stop by and say hi. As far as the school... I had some rains mounted up on spares so I was on full rains. I think we got pulled off the track after about 2 laps when the kid crashed coming out of turn 7. :)

new houses are the best! I'm thinking about having a house built out in the burbs with a barn for a garage but until then I'm stuck in the frickin city with the rats and dumbass gangbangers. You staying in the Racine area or you moving to Illinois? I may take you up on that offer if there is no sign of my bike this week. But the wife is making plans hoping that my bike doesn't get here....
Temporary house in Kenosha, then off to new house in Salem, both of which are in Wisconsin. If your serious about the Championship this year you can't afford to miss the opening round which is Double point's! Let me know if you want it, should only take a little bit to get it ready. I'll put the right gearing, jetting, tire compound etc......
Super Duck, Actually, I'll probably be along the front straight somewhere, so don't look for me in 3D-4 area first.
