since it's a jason Farrel thread...

jason,
What's racing looking like for you this year?  Hoping to see you out there dicing it up at least a little.

Ohh no!! I'm being paged!!

I was waiting for someone to ask what's up with my racing this season.
It's a tough question to answer.
I made the choice of getting married to my shop instead of being the wild single guy who races at his leisure about 5 years ago!

So its been pretty tough for me to race as I'm busy with my business & working on my guys bikes. If I had it my way I'd rather be racing because with the results I've achieved in the last 6 years with just temporarily racing I've done pretty well and its hard to quit when your only getting faster. Plus after Tommy Girard being 42 just won the overall championship this season with a bike I prepped all year it makes me wonder how much racing I have left in me.
Between balancing my shop, racing & this messed up economy we will see what happens this season. I've been a taking a take it as it comes kind of approach.
It depends on what kind of sponsorship help I get this season. I'm working on a few things right now and we'll see how it pans out for me.
To say the least, you will most likely see me at a few rounds for sure dicing it up. After working on the new 09 ZX6R's I'm pretty excited for how much more this bike can let me do! We are already seeing more than 5-7 hp in the mid rang & 4 hp up top. Plus its 20 lbs lighter even as a race bike.
Tommy & Brian are pretty excited to ride the new bike too.

All I can say is it could get interesting!!

That 20 lbs. off the new bike will make your rider/bike weight the same as last year :ass:

I rode my 09 stock at Barber last weekend and it was awesome. I can't wait to get it into race form and see what it will do.
