I have offically signed Chrysler's retirement offer.... After 30 years at Chrysler, we will be parting ways April 30th. Mark

Anyone else picturing Mark pulling a Johnny Cash 'One Piece at a Time' on a Caliber? :)
So this make Mark 65?
Having an open retirement party?
Maybe a Challenger or one of those Super Bee pick ups they made years ago...

You rock!
Way to go Mark. I do not anticipate retiring until well into my 60's. Having dealt with more lay-offs, mergers, downsizes etc. over my 22 year career combined with 3 kids who will prob. go to college (I paying half), 2 potential weddings and this evil obsession called club racing. My salvation is a new higher pay job with Marathon in a much lower cost area - Robinson, il
I suspect that you will go on to something else anyway!!
Mark doesn't have to worry about looking too hard to start a 2nd career.
Didn't the Porn industry just ask for some bailout money? They'll be hiring soon! :spank:

I dont think they are doign retro 70's porn anymore. :lmao:
Geesh! Retirement already? Unfortunately, I'm just tired.
Daymn- I'm having trouble with just the spelling of the word rtirmint...seems so far off.................gonna be a while, coingrats!
I'm working on retirement #2 and when that happens I'm done. but I'll be 60 when that happens. Then #3 probably won't happen as Obama has spent all social security money on the bail out schemes that won't work. Hopefully 2 will be enough.
I retired from Chrysler as of 2:30 pm CST today. And considering the announcements today, I feel like I just dodged a huge bullet.
I just wish my remaning brothers and sisters all the very best of luck, there gonna need it.
So what ya gonna do in all your free time Mark? Put on plaid pants, green dress coat and head down to the park to feed pigeons?
BTW are you going to RA this weekend?

Spectating for the first half of the season, I have a lot on my plate right now. I plan on racing the last BFR or the last 2. Still deciding.

Congrats Mark on a long and hopefully rewarding career. Now life begins again. Let the retirement police take you to Fla, that challenger would look very sweet mingling here on bike nights! Yeah, summers are hot here they say, but you ride year round and when the sun goes down, we be cruisin!

Thanks! Florida may be an option. That is where my family is. But I am thinking Savannah Georgia. I have some "recon" to do later this summer to determine where I am going to settle at. But it's gotta be warm, wet, and sandy where ever I end up at!
