Has anyone put a aftermarket steering damper on an 2008 GSXR 600? I am asking beause the stock steering damper is pluged into the ECU. With that unpluged how do I clear the code if the after market steering damper is not hooked up to the ECU?

Thoughts????

I recall reading that if you take the solenoid off the stock damper and plug it back in to the wiring harness the code will clear.
It's just what I read though, no personal experience.

I would but there is no place on the wire harness or on the bike to plug it in other then the stock steering damper.

Don't mind that last post I see what you are talking about now. I will try it out.
