What happened to that race on the schedule?
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.
The date became unavailable for 2009.
Thankfully the track worked with us and we were able to have four race events at Summit Point for the 2009 season with the additional day needed to have the twin sprint event at the July weekend.
Not sure I understand that Eric. I'm only seeing three weekends at Summit on the 2009 schedule.
i think the the 2nd set of sprints qualifies as a 4th day and therefore preserving the ability to have track championships
that weekend is now some 50th anniversary scca event or something...
Ahh, ok, now I get it. Thanks :thumb:
:wah: that's all :(

"became unavailable." what does that mean? (1) CCS passed on it. (2) CCS dropped a ball somewhere. (3) SP told CCS to drop dead that weekend.
which is it?
if i had to guess dates come unavaible due to tracks like cars more then motorcycles
one more reason cars suck!

I'd say #3. The Jefferson 500 (http://jefferson500.org/) is scheduled for that weekend.

If so, that really stinks. CCS has had that weekend as long as I can remember. CCS should have had right of first refusal before the track gave it away to another org. Lame.
