John- Saw you in Motorcyclist! I was in the Atlanta airport and needed a magazine to read so picked it up as it was the most "sportbike" looking magazine in the store. Was a little surprised to run across an article and pictures of you! Looking good you big time stud!
This is Will Scholze if you don't know who this is.
Yeah dude...even a blind pig gets a cobb of corn once and a while.I even got the On The gas Award this year, although I think the Mr. Potato Head award is much more dubious,I can only aspire.
lol, i was wondering if you were going to ever see this!
Will, you gotta use B.F.L. for John. Its kind of a necessary now. Hey are you racing this year? What the hell happened to your bike, I saw you coming back on the truck and that was the last I saw.
BTW, that means BIG FUCKIN' LETTERS!!!!!!
Nice Mikey...real nice :lmao: Our buddy will had a little excursion in T-1 at BHF,we were practicing together, next thing I know he's off in the weeds, brakes or something right Will?? Good to see him standing...bike did NOT look good.
gigolo- yeah i am racing this year. Who are you by the way? lol
Yeah i had a big crash at the last friday practice of the year at BFR. Lost the front brakes going into one a split second after i grabbed them. Don't really know what happened they worked after words...can't find anything wrong with them. I am just going to replace everything i guess! Bike actually wasn't that bad, destroyed the sub frame busted the fairing stay..cracked some plastic that was about it.
I'm nobody
ahh ic. Just trying to match a name to a screen name!
Hi
Brakes aren't something to mess around with - Ask Ron Hix about that :P
10/4 on that one Scotty.....the video looked bad...thank God we wasn't hurt too badly, same corner actually.
Not to steal from John's thunder here:
CONGRATS JOHN
But ever since I saw Hix video - I make a point of checking the brake lever for tightness... Especially on my Brembo Units - The little pin and clip does seem to come loose quite often - I run a piece of safety wire through the center of the pin and then around the front of the master - Just to make sure it can't come loose....

Yeah i will be doing that as well. I WISH mine was something like that, at least i would know what went wrong! My brakes grabbed initially, and then the lever came to the bar and i didn't have brakes. After picking the bike up i had brakes again. No one that i have talked to has come up with a definite cause that matches what happened. So i am probably just going to end up replacing the entire brake system.
Good idea....nothing worse than losing brakes. My lines were too tight and with fork extesion the banjo bolt finally loosened up,lost the front brakes at ACC at the end of the back straight...needless to say I crashed.

It must be nice having reasons for why you crash :wah:
Oh,I have reasons for my last 3 other crashes....let me see, loss or lack of focus, abrupt hands, rushing corner entrance, repeating a mistake......riding over my head, you know..the usual. My girlfriend says the reason why we crash is because we're on a racetrack going really, really fast, with a bucnch of other nut cases going really, really fast. Now I know why she's going back for her masters. :thumb:
You almost had another in turn 2 @ BHF. I almost John Gu'd your ass (Sorry Gu) I ran off in the grass and came back on.
Boy,I'd sure hate to get Gu'd.
Hey, Jigs. Any pics you can share. Not of your crash, but of your fame. Well crash pics are cool too. :D

Yes, I'll be on the same bike again this year. Racing most of the GP region and some select CMRA events. Going to be tough keeping up with some of the EX F40 ranks at HPT on my 600, but I'm going to giv'em hell. Maybe we'll see each other on the grid.
I don't know, seems to me last year you finished pretty far up in the over-all satandings with a two wave start, and your lap times there were right up there.I may see you at R.A. this year again, which will be very tough in F-40 expert for sure.Frankly,a Championship would be really tough this year,so i may cherry pick a bit relating to weather.May 1-3 rd at R.A. could be 40 and rainy, which may reduce me to a spectator,or go to Putnam for a track day if the weather down there is nicer. If the weather is dry,I'll prolly do 7 races at Road America, but post reg,we'll see, either way,we'll keep an eye out for ya and good luck.
