So now MARRC (http://"http://marrc.nova.org/") has a 'new' truck for picking up everyone who felt who felt the need to take a dirt sample or didn't now how to properly put their bike back together.
It's a '92 GMC Sonoma SL with a nice low bed for easy loading. Very similar to the current truck.
I put up the money and am doing the leg work for it. To contribute to the payment of the truck you can send your donations to my Paypal address sgtvfr at earthlink.net Small donations from everyone local is all it takes.
We are also working on getting a paintjob for it to make it the better looking crash truck. Ideally we could get that done for the cost of materials at most if there is a generous painter willing to give some of his time.
Money in excess of what is used for the truck will be donated to the RRW Action Fund (http://"http://actionfund.roadracingworld.com/") for airfence. I'll be sure to say something once the truck is paid for.
This truck will benefit all the racers at Summit Point. For one thing this one won't be leaking oil on the track like the other tends to do sometimes. We can now have two trucks available to pick up bikes meaning faster clean up and getting back to racing even faster than what we are capable of now.
