Title: Question: what size wheels does your front or rear wheel stand have?
Post by: Super Dave on January 04, 2009, 04:58:38 PM
I have a lot of Woodcraft stands, and I know they have 4" wheels.

Can some people post up some information about the brand of stand they have and the wheel size?  I'd appreciate it.  I'm working on a little project.

Pitbull Front and Rear stands have 4" wheels

Vortex stands also have 4" wheels

Pitbull has two wheels, one on each side, and Vortex has four wheels, two on each side.

Thanks!

Anyone have any Lockhart stands or something with smaller or larger wheels?  What does a Handy stand have?

I have Woodcraft.  They have 4" wheels.   :ass:

Ok, ok.  Actually, my older front Woodcraft has 3" wheels and my LP stand, has 3" also.

SD, Handy stands are about 3 1/8".  Factory Ducati stands are the same size.

1 1/4" on the Handy Stands.  1 3/4" on the Ducati Performance stands.  If someone hasn't chimed in on the Pit Bull stands, I can measure them this weekend.  (They are with the bikes in storage.)

Cool, thanks a bunch.

I'm working on a little, project, and, hopefully, it will be a nice little thing to make some things just a little more convenient.  I have work to do, but I think I have a really good direction on my prototype.
