Becoming the woman you've always wanted to be!
It's good that he / she is finally coming to terms with her / his gender.
Doesn't this line seem like a total mis-representation of the facts?
"It will be nice to have something a little more normal"
Dave, name one normal thing about you?
I got a good chuckle out of the first line... "Ever aging motorcycle road racer"
Hey, at least everyone can still come up with my humor in my press releases...LOL!
Surgery went well. I had my hand rebroke and pinned back together in 1992, and that really sucked a lot. I mean, that hurt so much more than breaking it, and it hurt all the time for a good three weeks, and just a little less for the final three weeks after that.
My doc this time said this isn't going to really hurt at all, but it's going to be like having the worst cold you ever had as you're not going to be able to breath through your nose. So, yeah, things were pretty good after everything yesterday. Then all the fluids started building up around the splints inside my nose, and it began to suck pretty bad. Hard to sleep much more than 50 minutes at a time. Not much I can do really either. So, I'll just play it by ear...or nose or something.
I am a whole lot more beautiful that I was before though.
May you heal as fast as you ride. :thumb:
P.S. You're so Hollywood now. Congrats!
Glad all went well!
Hang in there!!!!
Thanks, guys!
Ah yes, the old fun nose surgery. I had it and so did Annette.
I hated waking up out of surgery and couldn't breath and the nurses had to tell me to breath through my mouth.
Remember Dave, drugs are your friend.
I still do the Nasal Rinse twice a day. Helps alot with congestion.

I'm doing nasal rinses about every 90 minutes. I'm still a mess. I could actually breath most of the day Wednesday...until night time.
And drugs, well, I have no real pain, and pain killers usually just make me vomit. I learned that many, many years ago after a hernia repair. That really sucked a whole lot.
So, do you resemble Prince Charles, without the big ears?
