Was out flying kites with the pet (subsititute  :ahhh:  ) yesterday.

been limiting my internet time on the weekends as I spend enough time in front of a computer during the week and with weather in the 80's   I have been outside in shorts and teeshirt anytime I am not at work.

FYI Fed-Ex does not accept packages of sunshine.  :kicknuts: :lmao:

My buddy in Rhinelander said that a few of the ponds that are blocked from wind have about 8 ft of fringe ice from the shore out.... He said that it's in the teens overnight with windchill well below that and the high the rest of the week isn't above freezing.....

Sweetness

That's what I like about people from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.  When you get really cold weather thrown at you, you make something useful out of it - like ice riding.

In St. Louis it only gets cold enough to make people real bitchy and all they do is complain about how cold it is - like they really KNOW what cold is!  That, and I'll take snow anyday over the freezing rain that we always get here!

You can go back to stacking your firewood now! (sorry Dave, wood pellets, in your case.)

This just shows what you city folk know about this part of the planet ( outside the city limits that is )....it gets cold here and we go outside and start shooting anything that moves....hmmmm.... ::)

Hey Rick...why don't you come out to Clinton County for a visit, I have several scopes that need to be dialed in... :lmao:

BTW...all I heard out of Lonny and Iowa winters LAST winter was bitchin' about how cold it was, and how much the snow sucked....  :blahblah:...so that pretty much blows that theory....
