It appears that my very long message was truncated so here's the new one:

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the riders, crew members and others who helped propel Team Shakka 4 Life to a 2nd place overall in the 2008 ASRA Team Challenge GT class.

Riders who jumped in: Paul Gray (Road America), Roy Hefner (BHF) and George Lindhart (VIR)

Crew Chief: Paul Onley (who forced us to never quit)
Crew: Matt Patton, Paul Gray, Mike Courtney (Parts Unlimited), members from Team Compost, George Lindhart, Mike Williams.
Sponsors: EBC brakes, Vortex, Parts 411,
Suppliers: Michelin Tires and VP4.2 on EmJay's bike (Tommy) Pirelli Tires (Dustin) on my bike,

Special mention to Matt Patton who got us a seat in Daytona (we also got one a day early from the local motorcycle store) and gave up his street bike so that we could run VIR.

And last but not least a big thank you to EmJay who had the vision to do this and gave me the nod to team with him.

For not knowing what we were doing, we did it pretty well!! :ahhh: LOL Like Steve said, thanks to all that pitched in, filled in, crewed etc. MUCH appreciated!! :cheers: I think it was a pretty good time, mission accomplished. :thumb:

Thanks for the opportunity to ride with Team Shakka 4 Life! I really enjoyed it and, now that I've gotten a taste of Team Challenge, I'm looking forward to doing some more TC events in the future. Congrats!

Its LINHART - I don't really care what you say about me, just make sure you spell the name right. Seriously, it was fun helping out in the pits and racing with you guys this year. Given that it was the first effort for running an endurance season I think the team did well.

Congrats on the finish, I'm just glad I was able to help out.

Sorry Jorge!! But seriously, it was great that you committed time and money to ride @ VIR. I wish we'd have had more practice time and a better prepped bike...

Congrats to you and the entire Shakka 4 Life team as well as everyone who helped out. Good job. I know it takes lots of work by lots of people to field a successful endurance team.

Thanks Paul. You guys really rode well @ VIR. We thought we'd be closer but it was not to be. Wish we could have given you a good contest out there.

Congrats to winning the whole series again. You certainly put together a very professional team, one which we all strive to emulate. It was a priviledge to race against you and Jeff. Great sportsmanship!!

I'll try to keep up next season.
