Title: Is Attack trying to give Steve a bad "Rapp?"
Post by: unter_kid on July 22, 2008, 03:56:46 PM
Poor guy, seems like everytime he finishes on the box something is called into question.  First tires at Road America, now this?  Guess we'll have to wait and see.

You forget about Daytona, where the Hondas had problems in '07, and Hayes was penalized in '08. In both cases Rapp benefited.

Yeah, Tim, I imagine so.

I'm betting that third place helps him financially more than being DQed.

But a lack of rules enforcement in the past allowed this stuff to happen in the past with the manufacturer teams.  Not sure what to say about Attack.  I wouldn't call them a privateer team, but I'm not sure I want to call them a manufacturer team either.  But with the in house team being all beat up, I think their focus is on Superbike.  Might be sending some of the special parts down the road to Stamboli and the guys.
