Title: Blackhawk Resurfacing
Post by: schmitty on July 16, 2008, 06:15:14 AM
Has anybody heard anything about the resurfacing that is supposed to happen at Blackhawk?  I talked to a few people who did the Buell track day on the 3rd of July and they said nothing had been done yet.  Any info?

We rode on it in June 23rd.  Was pretty good.  You don't notice much of a change.

It was done right near the beginning of June.

What did they actually do? Repave or patch?

Well, it wasn't a repave.  That would be best to do in the fall.  So, I guess you call it a patch.  Was a unique new process.  If Tom at the track shares with you how it was done, then the information is public.  It was a pretty neat deal.

Further renovations to the track are to happen starting in the fall. I'm not sure if repaving is on the schedule.
like Da...I mean Billy Bo said, talk to Tom, he'll let you know all the poop that's fit to print.
