I was wondering if anyone had a starting point where to set my ride height? I am riding a 2005 R6. I have Bridgestone B-002r tires with a Hyper Pro shock. The fork internals are stock. I was also wondering where the measurements are taken from. I believe they are taken from the top of the fork to the top of the triple and from eye to eye on the shock but I am not sure. :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:
Thanks,
Smy
Well, the R6's aren't bad, geometry wise, pretty darn close to stock.
Now, the Hyperpro shock puts a different spin on everything. It should have a rising rate spring on it, so you can't use the "standard" sag numbers. Since it is rising rate, you'll run more sag in it that one would with a straight rate spring. I think we ran mine at about 35mm, topped out vs me on it.
Eibach spring right? Any numbers on the spring will be helpfull.

Hyperpro uses their own springs. The numbers are sequential part numbers that have no relevance to the actual rate, and, since it's a rising rate spring, the rate change is completely different from a straight rate spring. It's not linear, or straight.
Yeah, I do have a Eibach spring on there. I will have to look at the numbers when I get home and post them then. Thank you all for you input.

Ryan has a pretty good handle on this stuff...
