* Momma Goose and goslings crossing      :thumb:

Ohh,this post...you rascal!!My new sponsors,Flow-max and Viagra are concerened about my color blindness.I told them not to worrie.Actually, that was the first time that ever happened, the sun was behind the flags just right and I really couldn't tell if they were Red or yellow, can you believe it??I was running all alone in 4th place and I came up on Purk in T-7 with his hand up so I thought,OK ,it is red, pulled in to hot pit behind him and then a bunch of bikes ripped by and I thought,oh shit. The standing yellow was for him,he was off pace with a blown clutch...hmmmm.I was emmediatley called numb nuts and the like.

Hahaha, that's awesome! I had a similar problem at Putnam last weekend, I went down the front straight and was completely confused because I saw a waving orange flag and thought to myself "orange? Is that like a really bad yellow but not quite a red flag incident? This wasn't covered in the riders meeting... What do I do??"

Then I realized it was cuz I was using the hi-def polar optics shield which makes everything more yellow. It isn't a problem anywhere else but somehow the flags at Putnam were really faded or something, cuz I had to lift my visor to make sure it was actually a red flag. Doh!

Ok, now that there is really funny.

Maybe we should consider adding text to the flags for all of the old guys out there.  :lmao:

Actually, given the right set of circumstances, the red and yellow situation could be bad.  I guess in preemptive thinking limiting the variables is all we can do.  The more I talk to people about it, even though its mainly in a joking manner, the more people say that it might be a good thing to bring up in a meeting.  Really the only time you would be able to read it is when it was a standing flag.  I foresee giant l.c.d. screens with blinking for waving or solid for standing.  Then of course there will be advertisements on them, they will start out small but over time they will take over the screen.  Then it wont even be corner workers, robots with whistles, and vacuums installed inside them.  There wont be race gas, just a hole in the top of the bike that you put ears of corn into.  ok ill stop.
