Anybody got a xr50? Thinking of getting one for the track for a pit bike and just to goof around on at home. Alot of people are getting them lately. I heard they go pretty good?
I bought a 2003 XR50. It was a bit cramped and undersprung so I put some heavier springs in the forks and rear and bought a bigger handle bar kit and it's a blast to ride. It's almost too much fun just messing around on it. A couple guys I know have older models and they're basically bulletproof. Get one.. you'll love it!
Not to mention the fact that most motocross tracks are setting up tracks for them to race on. That means you not only have a pit bike but a bike to cross train on too .
I have a friend with a 2001 xr 50 for sale his son road it and he wants to sell it now it has around 10-20 hrs on it.
