Title: Formula 40 Twins Displacment. Print different than online copy of rules
Post by: ktd on May 11, 2008, 08:24:42 PM
Ok, My rule book I got in the mail says

Twins up to 1000 CC.  Last time I raced my RC51.

I used the rulebook online and sent in my registration for my 1098 because it said..

The rule book online says
FORMULA 40 (Amateur & Expert Divisions)
Four cylinder, liquid cooled, up to 775cc
All other engine configurations, Unlimited displacement

Whats the deal?  anyone know?

I'm pretty sure there was an update to the printed one...concerning F40 displacements...not sure exactly what though...as my rule book is in the trailer...which I cant keep at my house...so I'm basically no help  :ahhh:

but Eric Kelcher frequents the board....or you can e:mail him..

There was a rule supplement letter included with printed rulebook.

A. That BMW HP2 motorcycles are excluded from lightweight competition
B That Formula 40 displacement was four cylinder liquid cooled 775cc all other engine configurations unlimited displacement
