Tommy,

Have you found that a petroleum based lubricant is best for these applications or do you definitely want to go the synthetic route?  Is heat always an issue?

Super Dave told me you had investigated this subject from the bottom up......

With your vast experience in this area I really trust your judgement!  :thumb:
