I wanted to say thanks and hats off to everyone in that race. I was gridded on the front and after the launch going into second I caught neutral. Hats off to everyone :thumb: because that is one of the worst things that a racer can do. After the launch my boot caught on my peg and I shifted into neutral and hit rev limiter, as soon as I realized what happened I brought my arms in and sat up and held as straight of line as I could so people could go around because even when I got into 2nd the bike was still getting back up to speed.
So thanks everyone...I felt really bad because :wah: I didn't want to put anyone else in danger.

P.S. I didn't screw up any other starts so I made the mistake once...I'll do my best not to do that again.
Wow!!! :ahhh: Great job to everyone, messed up starts can be a HUGE dibacle!!!! I know they always stress in riders meetings to make sure you make it BLATANTLY OBVIOUS you've had a problem at the start so everyone behind you knows!! So good job Chris and all who avoided you!! :)
It was sketchy all weekend but I think everyone did great avoiding the highsider in turn one in the AM HWSB race.
That happened right in front of me. I take it the rider was fine?
BTW I was bumped by someone in the MWGP AM race on the last lap. A fellow rider made a crazy move on the inside right before the apex and we touched. I tried to make the corner but ran out of room. So I went into the kitty litter coming out of T3. What a wild ride that was. Not sure how I kept it up on 2 wheels? All in all it was a great weekend. First time out in may years. Still fun if not more so!
I saw that start, Chris, and you were clearly visible and got going again soon enough that I could not even catch up with you! ;)
I was also right behind a guy who high sided on the last lap in the GTU Am. His bike flew so high I could have snuck underneath it! The guy stood up immediately, though, and I heard later from one of his friends that he was ok!

Yeah, he was fine. I picked him up and we got him going. He even made the restart.

That would be me... My first thought was I hope no one runs me over or hits my bike and crashes too... thank fully no one did that I could tell. Simon did a great job of helping me get it up and out of the way, and checked it to make sure everything was in proper order before I went back out on track for the restart! MARRC is a great bunch!!
It killed my confidence the rest of the day. I couldnt get anywhere close to 22's again and I felt like a rolling chicane...
Thanks to everyone on the grid, and to MARRC!!
I was one of the downed riders on saturday, (gto). I dont remember what happened, but I think there was a rider to the inside as I was going through T4. I went wider than usual and realized I wasn't going to make it. Knew I couldnt run off so I tried to turn as best I could. Cornerworker told me I hit the airfence. Broken hand, broken bike. Could have been a lot worse
thx to marrc

R, that was me just behind to your inside. Your line coming down the hill was way wide and you only made it maybe a foot or so back across mid-track and your front tire tucked.(walked the track that night). Was glad to see you up on the bank next lap around not seriously hurt. I wasn't running my camera, sorry. Next race I'll have it back on. I destroyed my mount in highside playing in April.
thx Jason. Good race for sure. I am glad the air fence was there. The only thought going through my mind, as I was sliding, was that concrete wall. I was expecting a big impact. Going to be a few months before I'm back. Destroyed all of my gear in that wreck

I was behind Jason, and saw it too, although he got a little more up close view. I think you might have gone in a wee bit too hot as well as being wide. You were hauling ass, and I thought you missed the air fence and hit the wall! Glad you're not hurt really bad, it looked pretty nasty.
I was behind Naya on this one as well. My view was even more obstructed. But I am glad you were ok. That is a very scary place to go down
thanks guys, i had trouble sleeping sat night. Kept seeing the wall coming closer to me over and over again in my head. It was an experience for sure.
