Title: Hallett gearing
Post by: kl3640 on April 29, 2008, 01:07:27 AM
I'm interested in gearing for a stock 06 750 for Hallett w/200# rider sans gear, but I might be able to make a good starting point guess based on others' observations as compared to a roughly similar type of track if there are no specific recommendations.

Thanks!

At least can anyone tell me if the gearing would be similar to any other track that I might know?

15/46 works really well on my 07 GSXR 600.  I would start with 15/44 on a 750.  Good luck!!  Hallet has more elevation, but a somewhat similiar layout to BHF

Kurt, thank you.  To which other tracks would you compare Hallett in terms of gearing, besides BHF?  In the mid-west, I've only ridden Topeka, so my only points of reference would be East Coast tracks.  Would it be similar to something like CMP?  Thanks.

15/46 seems to be a magic gearing for my 600.  I use it at Heartland Park, Blackhawk, Hallett, Barber, and MAM

howlieboy, how much do you weigh without gear, and do you have any substantial weight mods or engine power mods to your 600?
