Title: The guy that got a helicopter ride from CMP.
Post by: Cornerman on April 18, 2008, 01:58:48 AM
Does anyone know how the guy is doing that had a crash at t10 and had to be air lifted out.  That was a bad one! I hope he is doing OK.

My friend was the other rider (the one who was taken out, and who mistakenly grabbed the wrong bike immediately afterwards).  He seemed to think that it was some sort of head trauma, based on what he saw and what he heard from the medics who were there.

I understand that the airlifted rider had just re-earned his license, after an absence from racing?

Danny returned to the track on Sunday afternoon after being checked out at the level 1 trauma center.  Art Lohman, CCS Chaplin brought him back to the track.  He thanked all for their help and assistance.

His wife had driven down to CMP, concerned, as this was his 3rd helicopter ride.  One from the street, one from Jennings and now this one.

Arrangements had been made for CCS staff to drive his rig back to his home, but he declared himself fit enough to do it himslef.
