Bikes at Blackhawk the first weekend in Aprii - Pedal bikes, I mean! Hopefully Stumpy and the Chocolay Ace crew from Marquette will be there. They're scheduled to be in Sheboygan the day before for a race.
I know Edgar will be right there cheering them on!!!

Very interesting..... I think I'm gonna have to look into this a bit more.... Maybe I can make my Bicycle racing debut....
Might be cheaper than road racing!

Tire budget is way better, equipment, not so much. Time investment - way higher.
Stumpy's spring training camp starts today with a century a day Friday, Saturday and Sunday in 30 degree weather if it warms up coming of the nasty flu from last week. They'll see if all those 5 am spin sessions were worth it, I guess.
I wish I could be there! Maybe if the RV wasn't buried in 3 feet of snow. Ugh.

I'll wear that little girl school outfit and cheer him on down the straight! GO STUMP!

I was saying to Cindy that I was wondering if you all might come down! Many thumbs up.

Well....It was a nice day Sunday! ~70 degrees and sun...Bicycles were interesting, but without an engine, they lack a certain something...I timed a lap of one race and it was about 4 minutes around BHF's 1.95mile's. Some pics for those who care to look
PS. I've never heard such trash talking at the track before! Now thats funny!

Lap times, I want lap times!
To hell with the lap times!
I want more legs like that in picture 5.
They might be able to crush me but oh the fun.
Like I said, about 4 min lap times...And the men out numbered the women about 20 to 1 :(
Well. All the rubber the bikes laid down is washing off as we speak. It's been raining non stop.

Were you out there Jan? I saw a blue Kawasaki just like yours?
The pics were cool!
Maybe we'll make it next year if they do it again...I hope so! Stumpy is out for a while. He had surgery Friday in Eau Claire. Doc says 6 weeks but we'll see. The saddle might be a little tricky!
Let's just say that Stumpy could hear Edgar in his ear saying, I told you bicycles were bad.

Yes, you cut the peace and you didn't say hi....And I think you were breaking laws on the country roads surrounding the track! :) haha
