I plan to do the Red Flag golf outing. Anyone else?
Even though I would never do a golf outing for the Wegman Fund, I will join the festivities for the Red Flag Fund.
Awesome! :thumb: We're hoping for a good turnout.
I don't golf, but I do enjoy golf cart shenanigans.
Is there optional insurance??
Jeff has no idea what he's getting himself into...............
Let's see if I've got the order straight. Golf club, country club, night club, strip club. Shortcuts are allowed.

Hey, Jeff!
I have an idea for this. Everyone could put a dollar in for each golfer you hit with a paintball.
I have abetter idea, we could put Jeff out on the first fairway and for $1 we could see who could hit him with a golf ball.
There you go Gordie! That sounds like a great idea. I have never golfed, but I am willing to put in 10 bucks to take whacks at hitting Jeff! I guess he could even wear a helmet if he wanted to...
Edgar has no balls therefore he can't golf. Anyway I hear the beer cart girls are cute, I believe some of them even work at Schwarz' at night.

LOL... I'd say "Game On", but I saw my brother bean some geezer in the short ribs with a shot that bounced off a rock. He fell like a lead balloon! At first I thought he was dead. Then he flew into a rage letting loose a string of words that you just don't expect from a guy that looks like he's 110 years old.

Thanks to your sharp teeth! :)
Hmm, Schwarz girls... that place is nothing but trouble! I wonder if they can hook us up? :)
Come on Jeff, just wear your old racing gear! How much can a little golf ball hurt?

Jen put the kabash on me being your golf ball target for money. We're remodeling the house and if she spends $20k on pegging me with golf balls we'll be stuck with crappy capet & bathrooms...
dang..............oh well, we'll come up with something else. I'm sure quite as devious.
Does anyone know how golf got it's name? I've been told, but I just wanted to hear what everyone else thought.

Gentleman Only, Ladies Forbidden
Not actually true tho; comes from Scottish(Irish? wherever the game came from) that means strike or hit (think it it would be similar to bat, as in use a object to hit with)
Actually from the Scottish "gouf" or of the Dutch word "colf", meaning stick, club or bat.
Yes, that's what I heard. You guys are good.
Go Outside (you) Lazy F$%^&*
Giant Orgy Last Friday
Just a note, we have a few sponsors for the event.

Come on folks get in on the fun. Only three of us signed up so far? What are you waiting for?
Hoping to secure some big-name AMA pros when we head to Infineon in May...
I understand but we need the other folks also. And it's only two months away so no, it's not too early to sign up.
Yep, absolutely agree Gordy! I'm guessing that people are waiting to see who signs up, but once a few big names do, it will likely sell out quick. I wouldn't wait...
Just picked up 3 new sponsors today:
Automation Systems International - Thanks Dave Gygax!
Nashotah Garage - Thanks Tommy G!
Van Horn Automotive - Thanks Chuck VanHorn!
Tommy G sucks.
Just kidding Tommy...you know we love you. :kissy: (Don't get any ideas...perv!) :kicknuts:
Anyone want to join me in a practice round Sat. June 7th while that Moto-ST race is going on at the track?
Swing by and find me if you want, I may be up for it if I'm not too busy!
I am upping the ante. We get a full house of golfers, I do the 18 in a kilt. See my threads regarding my boast!
Doc
Things are shaping up fairly nicely. Going to be a bit smaller than we had hoped, but that just means the prizes will be shared by fewer people right?!? Miguel DuHamel is signed up which is pretty exciting. Hoping to see more last-minute sign-ups at Road America.
If you're on the fence, get off it and let me know! :-)
Cheers!
-Jeff
There is no fence on this......either do it or don't but if you're going to LET HIM KNOW!!!
It's a bit late, but would like to take a second to really THANK the folks who came out to golf, and who sponsored the event.
We ultimately had a great event. The rain held off for us, to the point that I actually got sunburned!!! We raised ~$8k with this event and had a fantastic time. Miguel, Kevin Hanson, Gordy & Laurel, Greg White, Doc Boll, etc etc etc... Everyone who showed up was absolutely great... Thank you all!!! I look forward to a bigger and better event in 09!
Hey, I even managed to win some swag.......... as they say, "It's sometimes better to be lucky than good".
Had a great time even though Miguel was stolen out from under us at the last minute by Wiechel and Hanson.
