Hi, does anyone here know how much weight powdercoating a set of wheels adds to them? Thanks.
Find the density of the paint (post curing) and calculate the volume needed to cover you wheels (approximately the surface area of the wheel times the thickness of the paint). Multiply the density times the volume to find the mass or weight of the paint (depends if you use mas density or weight density). If mass, multiply by the acceleration of gravity (9.8 m/s^2 or 32 ft/s^2 depending upon units) to calculate the weight.
Get to work, assignment is due tomorrow by 10:30 am. Spring break starts after my last class tomorrow, late assignments get tossed in the circular file.
Well look who came out of hibernation.

On my exam it would say "Calculate the length of the hypotenuse."

I'm around, not much to say lately.
Are you going to be ready to do a century on May 17th?

The answer for the length of the hypotenuse is 5 cm! ::)
Metric or SAE?
I should be, now I just have to see if I can get the day off.

That would be the 100 mile ride.
Went on a short ride today, it is going to be a tough spring. Been sick most of the winter.
OUCH! I've got the day off but 100 miles is going to have to be at an easy pace in May.
