Title: 2nd Gen SV engine questions
Post by: APP_Racing on March 02, 2008, 09:42:37 AM
I have heard a few folks talk about a couple things, so I was wondering what the real value is and if it is something I should look at.

1) Oil Pump Pressure, I have heard some people say that they shave something off of the pump to increase pressure by several psi.
- How?
- Why?
- Benefits?

2) Others have talked about removing the generator (not the starter or battery) and re machining the flywheel.  I assume this is for weigh reduction but not sure what is with the flywheel piece.
- How?
- What?
- Who can do it?
- Benefits?

Haven't been able to find anything on the web so far.
Thanks in advance.

Anthony, I've done all that to G1 & G2 motors. Give me a call and we'll discuss the benefits etc. Clayton
