How often does a race sell out particularly for the 1000 class, if you miss pre-register?

I would think you'd be ok. Road America is one of those places that things might be tight. Middleweight classes are more heavily entered. If you're past pre-registration, you don't have a whole lot of choices though, right?
GTO will normally sell out or be close to selling out at both Summit and VIR. Other Unlimited classes normally do not sell out.
Middleweight classes at both of those venues normally sell out.
