Title: Superbike tail
Post by: Scotty Ryan on February 07, 2008, 09:13:13 AM
It's been a while since I've had to deal with CCS rules. Is a Superbike tail with seat pad legal in Supersport? I don't want to pull an Super D :)

the SS rules are:
C. Any fairing may be used provided it is made of plastic, fiberglass or
carbon fiber and it meets the requirements in Section 5..

Section 5 states that the fairing must be mounted in 3 places minimum

SD has been keeping a low profile.  I haven't heard much potatohead banter

LOL!

Scotty, CCS allows about everything.  If you're gonna do a WERA date, read their rules very carefully.  Similarly, look at CRA rules.

999 Ducati bodywork looks good on an SV650.  Should have seen that at Blackhawk.  Very nice.

We might be able to get Keith on a roadrace bike if we mounted one of those up :) But then again he'd prolly get too excited and tuck the front......
