What are most going to be running at Daytona? I have a set of diablo supercorsas I plan to use for the Hammer day. I had heard the carcass is a bit too soft for the banking though and it could be a frightening experience.
Thoughts?
I will be anxious to hear some opinions on this. I have a bunch of Pirelli dragon supercorsa pro's I'm bringing. sc2 mostly. This is our first trip to Daytona so I am all ears!

At least 4 of the top 10 riders in the AMA supersport race last year at Daytona were on those tires.
But were they ama spec, stuff club guys can't get?
Pirelli gives club races the same tires they give AMA racers.

this is the same tire (Dragon SC Pro SC2) we ran the 8 hrs of Daytona MOTO-ST race in October on our Paul Smart Ducati...had NO problems with anything...tire wear was fantastic!
and like Arnie said the Diablo Supercorsa is Pirelli's supersport tire in the AMA...
a 160 rear will be available sometime soon...

With some exception given to compounds. I ran some "AMA spec" Diablo SuperCorsa compound tires (the non SC 0,1, 2, or 3) on one weekend and actually preferred the standard SC compounds, atleast for that particular track given the temperature that day).
Dunlop all the way. I've got three National ROC championships on Dunlops and when I did use the Pirelli's I was only able to get two third place finishes the last time that I ran the ROC
