Has anyone done research in to the various options for a slipper clutch for the 05/06 generation CBR600RR's, and which is the best for CCS race applications? I started out on an 05 6RR, then rode a GSXR750 for almost a whole season. Now I want to race middleweight again and I really get thrown off by the back-torque when downshifting on the CBR, so I want to switch to a slipper.
Thanks.
There's really only 2 choices for the 03-06 600rr, Yoyodyne & STM, both are very good quality.
Also Hinson, again good quality.
Hinson makes one for the 03-06 600rr now? I thought it was just the 1000rr ? Nice to know.
They sure do, Hinson's P/N is: BTL1001

That's great, thank you. I'll probably go with the Yoyodyne.
i got the STM in my 600rr and have no complaints....still trying to figure out how i rode without one. haha
i'm sure the others are comparable.
I had a Yoyo in my 03 and now one in my 07, love it in both.
I just scored an STM from Curt Henderson, Thanks Curt, and I'll be running a slipper this season on my 05 as he did.
Curt said he couldn't see competing against Marshall without it as he did back in '06 without this clutch.
me personaly I have been going through all my AM 07 race vids and I forgot how much the rear end chattered and acted up at times when I didn't blip just right, especially at BFR. Now running EX I'll need all the help I can get, imo.
