Will be going there for the first time in April... looking to get an idea of the track and where to go fast! LOL
So... who's got video posted up prooving their gusto?
I don't have a video, but I should be one of the first to ride it after the reconfigure is done. They have changed turns 12-14 to make them more friendly for us. I hope to be getting out there in a couple of weeks to play on it some. They have a trackday club they started, and I'll be taking part in it. Private club days should be fun.
OK, the weather is looking good for this weekend, and the pavers are done. I should be able to give some feedback on the new configuration after Sat and Sun.
Alright, here are some pics of the track as it is now.

pic 2 in the link shows the new part. We run out to the left and use that sweeping turn back to teh straight along the highway. That should be a fun turn.
cool pictures
And here is some info on the new part of the track

Nice write up Stick!
Thanks. It was a blast out there.
Is there power around the rest of the paddock or is it limited to just the garages?
there is power around the paddock but the last 2 years the power sucked always tripping breakers so your warmers were off more then they were on. hopefully they added more
They are working on redoing the power so it will be better. I didn't check it last time I was there.
THen I guess it's time to whip out the ole Coleman Powermate. Hey Stick are your bigger genny's able to run a small house on wheels? (read: 22' toyhauler) with a 15000btu AC and some tirewarmers? Only reason I ask is that I hate to have to bring the noise maker and would rather sell it for something more environmentally sounding. Also those Hondas are real real expensive. :err:
Here's plenty fast for you....1:22 or so (IIRC) qualifying video: www.onboardvideos.com

My big ones are better than the colemans, but still not as good as my little ones. I ran a 13.5 ac off one of the 2500/3500 ones, but I don't think it would do warmers at the same time. I have a new 6000w with wheels that I just picked up. If the owner wants to oil and fuel it up before he take sit home I'll see how it sounds at RRR.
The 2.4k/3.5k ones are so quiet that they spoiled me.
dooh, sorry man, was reading another post at the same time about Jennigs.. I was talking about Jennings videos. You are right, I don't have any CMP videos.
