they put that foot ball crap on on Sunday night when they should be playing Simpsons, family guy, and American dad instead of this shitty game.
Hey, you can still watch it on DVD.
Have you seen the Family Guy Star Wars thing? I didn't. Is it funny? Tried to watch the Simpson's movie, but I fell asleep. That's what happens when you reach 26... :blahblah:
Family guy blue harvest is 48 minutes long you should be able to stay awake that long
but it is a good verson i bought the dvd last week and watched it a few times already. theres a few more scenes on the dvd then when it was on tv but if you like family guy you will like blue harvest
also have every season on dvd
the simpsons movie was pretty good i saw it in the theater and i watched the dvd a few times

Heh +1
We said the exact same thing.
The worst thing about our new TV is that football and nascar look really awesome on it.
Sorry, I like football. And it fits in the off season.
I feel you Garywc, I also hate it when Simpsons, Family Guy, and American dad are not shown because of some damn football game... God, I hate foot ball.
You boys are crazy!!! Giants and the Pack are going to overtime!!!
And yeah, I love the Simpsons and Family Guy, ask my girlfriend who gets annoyed when I watch them.
it would be better if the did it on motocross bikes (golf too-be like polo but awesome)
I thought I was alone. We watch no sports. None, except the occassional motorcycle race. Even then, I don't follow every minute of them.
We're like the total outcasts because we haven't named any of our kids Brett or Terrell or whatever, and don't have G's in the side of our heads.
Greenbay has a football team? :lmao:
I agree Football is not for me. Growing up I had better things to keep me occupied. I guess that I don't have the background to properly appreciate football. It seems to be an escape for some and some truly enjoy the sport. At least it seems that the football watching demographic is generally employed as evidenced by the times that the games air, more than can be said for the NASCAR demographic. If you don't believe me turn on speed in the middle of the day Monday through Friday... You guessed it NASCAR. It truly is the sport of the unemployed.
All that being said the Super Bowl parties are a lot of fun but for the friends, booze and commercials (mostly the Commercials)
Any football fans that I may have offended I'm sorry. If you need help getting past your TV/football addiction in the winter try Indore go kart racing- it is the cats ass.
And if I have offended any NASCAR fans... oh well :whine:
I think some of it has to do with a participation/appreciation level. Everyone enjoys things that they have direct experience with a ittle more, I think. I played football, and love watching it. I also race, and love to watch racing. It's also the same reason I don't watch basketball, baseball, tennis, hockey, volleyball, polo, swimming, cricket, rugby, soccer, or bocce, badmitten, etc.... Those are the only two sports I have participated in. Even though there really is no comparison to the pros, I think everyone can appreciate watching something that they've done a little more. Eh. Maybe not. Make sense?
For the record - I hate NASCAR, but love Family guy and Simpsons. My DVR if full of FG constantly...drives the wife nuts.
i hardly ever watch racing even if i am at the races
i find it fun to do. not watch
since i cant be a cartoon they are fun to watch
Yeah, I play soccer, but I don't particularly enjoy watching it. Don't really watch much racing either. I'll watch any sport for a few minutes, but inevitably get bored... unless it's racing and it's a really good race. The best thing about getting HDTV (since we don't have cable) is the extra PBS channels. Lots of science, nature, and history shows in our house... tempered with lots of Simpson's and Family Guy.
Here's my thing with it. When I'm at a store and the cashier or whomever says "Enjoy the game!" or "are you watching the game tonight?" and I reply that I'm not into it, they either freak out, or just go on like I know what the hell they're talking about.
As far as I'm concerned, a tight end and a wide receiver are different actresses in the +21 movie rentals, and a quarter-back is exactly what I expect when the total is $1.75 and I hand you two bucks. And a center? Sure, you can have it. It's right between the left & right cheek...

Well now we all know what you get into when the "games on" :spank:

I totaly agree participation Is everything. I dont take to a lot of things that I dont or cant do (football included). I think that alot of us just cant get into somthing just to enjoy watching it. My hats off to those who can... Just not me
