I've bought a good number of things from them. I think it's all Chinese made aluminum products, I found out after I got it. I've got the tire rack, some cabinets too.
Sometimes, they will have things on ebay too. So, go through their catalog, then go on ebay. Occasionally, they will low ball something out there that you can save a little money on too.
some e track to span two studs in the trailer up over the bikes and 4 2x4 brackets along with two 2x4s makes a removable rack or if you use longer e track you can use it as a bunk bed also

you need to cut a hole in the side of the trailer for his feet to stick out
This is under 250.00 http://www.ten-80racing.com/s?c=1
I know it is more than $250 but I have yet to have a problem with it.

Also I have a buddy that is building one, not sure if any welding is involved. When he is done I will ask him for a pic so I can post it up here.
As beautiful as that is, it's too hard on the checkbook for my taste.
I think I'll do the same thing with some scrap plywood and a closet rod or 2x4 and screw it to the floor of the trailer.
Thanks for the idea. :thumb:
you could also just put hooks on the walls and hang each wheel on its own hook that way they dont stick out into the walking space
or you could just stack them up in the corner and move them when they are in the way
thanks for all the input, looks like I'm going with this one http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/pitposse_1980_114618095 thanks SD!
thats cool they have a tire rack and hooks
not a bad price either
when you get it post what you think of it
Come on Rob, you made a "custom shelf" in your old trailer. A tire rack shouldn't be a big challenge for you.
The pitposse brand/style one looks good, and would be easy to duplicate from oak + plywood.....(rather then welding metal) I think I will play in the shop this spring and pop one together to test. When I do, I'll post it ! :thumb:
well here it is... I guess I'm happy with it. Although it looks cheap when un-assembled it is pretty sturdy when put together. The directions were confusing and the pics were nothing more than ink blotter tests but after looking at the pics on-line it was obvious what went where. It doesn't fold without removing a nylon lock nut so its a good thing I don't plan on folding it up much. It would also not mount up on two framing members so I'm gonna have to re do it before my first trip. I give it 6.5 -7 out of 10

Cool, you're puttin' a spare up there!
I haven't done that with mine. I have a second one that I have to put in yet. Too cold.

Yeah the spare is pretty heavy... not too sure about that. The rack is sturdy enough but will it stay on the wall... We'll see
I usually take out an exterior screw, drill completely through the stud to the inside, then use a screw from the outside, then use a locking nut.
You'll have to look to see how things line up with the exterior screws, but the mounting brackets are aluminum. You can make new holes if you they don't line up. Start with the top two and go from there. Might just to four with screws all the way through, then just use self tappers for the other four.
My trailer's got fiberglass walls, and it's totally different for mounting.
well for some reason the framing members were not 4' apart so now i onlty have one side into a stud. I guess I'll have to mount some steel brackets or maybe a couple 2x4's!! good idea on the exterior screw thing :thumb:
