Title: HPT renovations

so is the track all finished with the turn 1&2 and 8 am i correct that is the turns?
the pictures look like it is done
I guess i am a few months late and it was done last summer?

I hope if i make it out there this April it doesn't rain all weekend

Yeah, you're right with the corners.  Should be some tweaks, and I'm not sure if we'll run the new portions or what.

It's about 6 - 8 seconds faster.

but you still need to reserve electric early
as i recall there want much power in the pits

Last fall the walls were still awfully close at the exits of 2 & 9 (watch the SCCA runoffs). The higher speeds there make them "don't crash there" situations.

Yep, we rode there late fall on the new changes and all the walls were still there.  If they would just move them it would be freakin awesome!  The old configuration was pretty scary through those sections with the walls..then they made those spots even faster and kept the walls...???  Come on Dave, flex your muscles and make them go away!
