Title: SV 650 Gearing at BHF
Post by: IL_k1200r_guy on December 08, 2007, 04:16:37 PM
SV riders...

What gearing are you running at Blackhawk Farms?

I only have 15/44 right now and I need to order some other options.

Thanks

Perfect...I'll be sure to have your selection of gearing standing by at the LIthium pit.

If you are looking for maximum acceleration you can go lower,  unless you are pretty quick.  I run 1:20's - 1:21's on a stock motored carb'ed bike without using 6th gear with 14 - 46,  I figure I can go to 14 - 48 and still not hit the limiter.   Whaddya think Hawk?    Have fun - Johnny

Stock motored Second Gen at 1:19 I'll hit 6th just before the bridge with 14:46, 15:44 you won't need 6th gear.

14-46 seems pretty short (just based off an excel sheet).  Is this a pretty common ratio to run?  What about the other tracks on the MW schedule?

I ran 15-47 at all the tracks except RA and the Florida banking.
