I am thankful for my son, for the sacrifice that he's making in order to serve our country.  He wasn't able to to be home for Thanksgiving, but I am fortunate enough to be able to talk to him often.

I appreciate that!  It is especially tough around the holidays, and the fact that he's our only child, makes it hard for me.  But he's living his dream, and I'm proud of that.
