This from the AHRMA website:
AHRMA announces return to Road America June 14 & 15, 2008, along with MOTO-ST series. Road America will host two full days of AHRMA roadracing. The track will run a practice day on June 13. Though running with the MOTO-ST series, AHRMA will have a separate paddock area and will run races during the main part of the day. MOTO-ST racing will begin at 4:00 p.m. This exciting event will be back-to-back with the AHRMA Grattan roadrace, scheduled for June 21 & 22.

This is a new event. Does anybody know if Mid-west Safety crew is working this? (We did Moto-ST last year) If we are it will mean 2 weekends in a row at Road America. If you go to the Road America website and click on the 2008 schedule, you'll see that they are planning some sort of 11 day motorcycle promotion.

That's a good question. MotoST was with CCS last year. I suppose it depends if the contact has been made by either AHRMA or RA.
CCS has its own weekend July 4th-5th...
This year was way to busy! :ahhh:
I just visited the Milwaukee S.C.C.A. website and they have the June 7-8 A.M.A. and the June 14-15 A.H.R.M.A. events listed for next year. Most events at Road America, for obscure reasons, are funnelled through S.C.C.A. clubs. S.C.C.A. has a "policy" of not paying corner-marshalls. I hope Phil (our S.C.C.A. liaison) has a set of knee-pads ready for the groveling he's got ahead of him. My next question is : are the corner-marshalls going to be paid for the A.H.R.M.A. ( with Moto-ST.) event? Last year we were paid, but that was a different situation ( Moto-ST was paired up with C.C.S.) so we were paid. Will the ice actually break where we work an event for S.C.C.A. and get paid?
I am not sure how the weekend at Road America is going to work with Moto-ST and AHRMA.
At all other tracks, track officials get paid in some fashion when they are dealing with AHRMA.
Sometimes AHRMA contracts with the track for corner marshals other times they work thru AHRMA.
In either case arraigning to get corner marshalls is usually done thru the track since most corner marshalls
are local to that track specific.
You will just have to wait and see. :banghead:

I thought that it was going to be a Mother's Day event at BFR followed by an end of May date at BFR, then a July date two weeks after RA for 2008.

has MOTO-ST @ Road America June 8th?
Printing error. I talked with the folks at AHRMA, and MotoST will be with them...or AHRMA will be with MotoST...on the next weekend.
Thanks! :thumb:

No inside information here...... figured we would be staying with the May, June, July, August, September dates as in the past couple of years.
I'm off work that whole week between the AMA races and the AHRMA/Moto-ST stuff. Would like to get as much info as possible about working corners for the various orgs.
Anyone know what is going on at the track Mon. - Wed. of that week?
Nesba probably has it...
NESBA has the 11th and 12th. (Wednesday and Thursday)
Dang..........don't really want to work corners for that. Guess I'll just have to go riding myself.......but not with NESBA.

Sportbike Track Time is there on Monday
According to the Road America tentative schedule the Moto-St is now combined with the AMA weekend.
Superslide (sidecars) will be combined with the AHRMA event the following week. Yee Haw
