Title: Contingency Question/Concern
Post by: MightyDuc Racing on February 21, 2003, 12:25:04 PM
Why the heck does Dunlop pay the WERA Novices $100-$80-$60-$40-$30 and the CCS Amateurs $60-$50-$40-$30-$20 ???  That doesn't seem very good to me.  Any comment?  Not trying to whine, but we are every bit as good as they are!

Perhaps a lower percentage of WERA riders use Dunlops.

did you check out the new pirelli contingency offerings? only pays 4 places, and only pay 4 races a weekend. Certs are only good for 90 days now. If it was like last  year, our certs would expire before they mail it out  :P

You have to register online with Pirellimoto to get your certificates this year.  They say that you print them right off of your home computer.

I have not seen the pay-out for the contingency though.  Where did you see it??

Being that is the kind of stuff I do  8) I was registered before you could log in...

here is the link of the payout file, and requirements. It sounds like its going to be a pain to fill out the forms this year. and how do I know which 4 classes I will finish the best in? I should be able to fill in all my classes and then they pay me 4 best.

I will list all my classes entered.  It's the only way to cover yourself.

That or make sure your top 4 in every class!  ;)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

As you could see, I was a "little" frustrated.  I tried everything I could find to get it to work.

I really appreciate the help ;D
