Title: Looking for Pit Help-Moto-ST
Post by: BlueRidgePerformance on September 17, 2007, 08:59:27 AM
Not sure if this is the correct place to post, if not, I guess you will move it
I'm looking for 3 people to help with our pits. I've put together a great team of riders, now all I need
is some quality pit help.

To be a bit more clear, I'm talking about Daytona, October 20th
I am willing to pay $25 or discount fuel for the help.
Which includes setting up,and tearing down our pit.

Some new information: I am now looking for help for another team also.
What else are you going to do during that time? this is an easy way to recoup some of your
gate fee, and be part of some great racing. Depending on your qualifications, and the outcome of the race, you could earn even more.

If its the same team as last year, they'll need help!

1st they accused me of being in the wrong garage spot.

Then their jockey-sized rider couldn't even put his feet down on the bike.  They held the bike up for him... he then let out the clutch and ran straight into the infield fence.  Lotsa laughs!  My wife and I were rollin'

Its also entertaining when team riders bring the Speed channel guys over and they overtake someone elses garage spot.  I had to yell at the camera man to get out of the way as I was leaving to race!

Also, an enurance team shouldn't need to ask a club-guy for tools.  This year remember honda polish and a tap/die set.  (probably metric)

Please help!

I don't know who the hell you are talking about, but it was not my or the other team.
My riders were Derrik Keyes[factory Kawaski test rider] and Robert Wilkey.
Their team consisted of Brian Stokes and crew.

Which team ran the kawi 650R and had the 5ft tall rider rider?  it was that team... sorry if it wasn't you.  They were hilarious though! Sorry for the misinformation.

Hmm. 650R + jockey sized rider + funny as hell = Jimmy Filice?

We pitted next to Filice and Springer at MOTO-ST VIR and it was non-stop comedy. Those guys know how to have fun. And they still bring it big time on race day!

BRP, good luck with rounding up your crew. The 8-hour race is going to be a blast. See you there!

How hard is it to hold a pit board and fire extinguisher?
I do the tire changes, and fueling.
