You gotta watch this one.
I filmed the "Sidecar Races" at Summit Point Main Course in West Virginia on 8 & 9 SEP. They were racing with the Championship Cup Series (CCS) folks, which they don't normally do. Was a special treat.
Fun to watch them for sure. I'de never seen them "in person" before ... just on TV.

Awesome video Rat. Working the turns I really didn't get a chance to see the cars race other than in T6-7 (I was the blue shirt that helped pop start the stalled car). Couldn't hear it at work. Can't wait to get home to hear it.

So I downloaded the high res version and played it on the plasma with the surround sound going. Freaking awesome. Already said it once but way to go Pat. If you are at Summit for the Wera event coming up on the 29th and 30th you should introduce yourself.
It is really funny to see us bending over so far to try and push and pop start that thing. I think one serious observation we need to look into/address is some sort of better radio holster. If you watch the video all three of us (Kumi, Simon and I) are holding our radio as we come up on the sidecar. This has got to slow us down a little bit to say the least.

We had an awesome time at Summit Point and really enjoyed the track.
