The AMA has their racing thing at Mid-Ohio...the 23rd & 24th? Some kind of club thing or another.

i dont think you're elligable for the Club Challenge. i believe you've held an AMA pro license since 04, right?
I understand that if you hold an AMA pro license that you aren't allowed to race. That's great and everything - but with motocross at the amateur races they always had a Pro Am class. It have us(people with an AMA license) an opportunity to compete. There is nothing in the rulebook stating that I can't race the USGPRU 250 race tho. So I am thinking about doing that.
If you held or hold an AMA license, you're not elligible for the Horizon award. Otherwise, it's kind of like a club race.
Really, I'm looking at the Suzuki money. You know, Ohio isn't that far.
Ah, I see it now. I can't do the twins gig, so I'm out. It isn't a Pro-Am.
So Mark is letting me ride the "B" bike... I was going to run the 600 Superbike race as well - since it is on Saturday and I will only be allowed one practice that day - so I could try to get more track time on the 2 smoke - but since I have an AMA license I am not able to run the class since it is not an ProAM class.... I just think it's kinda funny since I would be on a 250 starting from the back of the grid because they don't have qualifying in that class... Oh well - I'll make due and see what I can pull out of my ass.... Actually - I'm really anxious to see what happens...
You have promoter practice today?
I think it has something to do with Laguna itself (they are only allowed so many days a year that they can make noise)- but we don't put a bike on the track till Saturday.... So it will be practice and qualifying on Saturday and all the races on Sunday... Unfortunately the schedule was like a normal weekend when it first came out - so we booked all the flights and hotel accordingly.... Then halfway through the season they changed it - it was cheaper for us to just come out for when it was planned then changing everything.... So my mom and I are just sightseeing and whatnot... Pebble Beach is NICE.....
