sucks... hope Miggy heals fully and quickly. The grids aren't the same without him.
WOW - Wish him a quick recovery.
Very unfortunate!
It was a blast to watch that guy race!! For example, did anyone note the HUGE difference between his and Aaron Yates style at the last Laguna Seca superbike race?! Yates would come into Turn 11 with everything nicely in-line, real smooth, while Miguel was right next to him with the rear end hopping and skipping all over the place, looking on the ragged edge. And it wasn't just there - he's always riden like that!
One of my favorite quotes from him a few years back after winning Daytona "You know you're going fast when the rear end starts coming around you at 180 mph!"
Wonder if this is retirement event?
Damm that sucks!!! :wah:
Hope he gets well soon.
Thanks for posting Jeff, thats pretty unfortunate for him. He was a lot of fun to watch race. I was really looking foward to watching him race at VIR next weekend. :wah:
Being the "old man" out there in the series I think this may start him on his auto racing career. Don't know what his contract is with Honda but I wouldn't be surprised if he hung up bike racing as soon as it ends.
