Title: Moto GP coverage this past weekend on CBS2
Post by: cbr600_mj on July 16, 2007, 02:41:19 PM
Did anyone else find the coverage of the Moto Gp race kinda boring.   :sleeping2:

Did not really care for the announcing and overall coverage.

I think Speed channel does a much better job.

Speed doesn't really do the coverage from what I can tell.  They just air the crazy British guys who are doing the coverage.  It sounded to me like Schwantz and the other guy were watching a tape just like we were and talking about it.  Not to mention that they didn't sound all that excited.  The British (and I think one or two of them are Australian) guys make great commentators.

You are right about Speed not actually doing the coverage, just broadcasting.  The excitement level of the Euro announcers  :ahhh: is what I miss most from the CBS commentary!

In your best monotone:

Oh  look. He almost had a moment.

Yes, he did almost have a moment.

I'm sure glad that it wasn't worse.

Yes, it could have been worse.

That sure is a fast section of the track.
